Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R-4 Racing Brake Pad:  AP 1666 R-4 

Porterfield R-4 Carbon Kevlar Competition brake pads are designed for motorsports use. The R-4 compound is very versatile with optimum temperatures as low as 450 Deg. F. The R-4 compound operates across a wide temperature range while being able to maintain an average mu of .50 and greater. The R-4 brake pads require minimal bed-in time compared to other motorsports brake pads.

Typical AP 1666 R-4 applications are 2013 - 2014 Ford Shelby GT-500 Mustang Front with Brembo 6-Piston OE Caliper front brakes.
