Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R-4 Racing Brake Pad:  AP 1669 R-4 

Porterfield R-4 Carbon Kevlar Competition brake pads are designed for motorsports use. The R-4 compound is very versatile with optimum temperatures as low as 450 Deg. F. The R-4 compound operates across a wide temperature range while being able to maintain an average mu of .50 and greater. The R-4 brake pads require minimal bed-in time compared to other motorsports brake pads.

Typical AP 1669 R-4 applications are Mercedes Benz C63 AMG, C63 AMG S, S63 AMG, S65 AMG, SL63 AMG and SL65 AMG rear brakes.
