Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R-4 Racing Brake Pad:  AP 495 R-4 

Porterfield R-4 Carbon Kevlar Competition brake pads are designed for motorsports use. The R-4 compound is very versatile with optimun temperatures as low as 450?F. The R-4 coumpound operates across a wide temperature range while being able to maintain an average ? of .50 and greater. The R-4 brake pads require minimal bed-in time compared to other motorsports brake pads.

Typical AP 495 R-4 applications are Mercedes Benz (C124) 300CE and 320CE. (R129) 300SL, 500SL, SL500 and SL320. (R170) SLK200 and SLK230. (W124) 400E, 500E, E320, E420, E500, 300TE Wagon and 320TE Wagon. (W202) C230, TL and C36 AMG. (W210) E300D rear brakes..
