Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R-4 Racing Brake Pad:  AP 916 R-4 

Porterfield R-4 Carbon Kevlar Competition brake pads are designed for motorsports use. The R-4 compound is very versatile with optimun temperatures as low as 450?F. The R-4 coumpound operates across a wide temperature range while being able to maintain an average ? of .50 and greater. The R-4 brake pads require minimal bed-in time compared to other motorsports brake pads.

Typical AP 916 R-4 applications are Porsche (997) 911 Carrera 2 Turbo Look and Carrera 2S. (996) and (997) 911 Carrera 4 turbo Look, 4S and Targa 4S with iron discs. (996) GT3 Cup, (997) GTS, (996) Turbo front brakes..
