Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R-4 Racing Brake Pad:  AP 983 R-4 

Porterfield R-4 Carbon Kevlar Competition brake pads are designed for motorsports use. The R-4 compound is very versatile with optimun temperatures as low as 450?F. The R-4 coumpound operates across a wide temperature range while being able to maintain an average ? of .50 and greater. The R-4 brake pads require minimal bed-in time compared to other motorsports brake pads.

Typical AP 983 R-4 applications are the McLaren SLR. The Mercedes Benz CL55 AMG, CL65 AMG, CLS55 AMG, E55 AMG, S55 AMG, S65 AMG, SL55 AMG, SL600, SL63 AMG, SL65 AMG and the SLR McLaren.
