Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R4-1 Racing Brake Pad:  AP 1260 R4-1 

Porterfield R4-1 Carbon Kevlar Racing Brake Pads were developed and tested in the Vintage Racing community. Because of the high coefficient of friction (™) at low temperatures, these are fast becoming the Autocross brake pad of choice. A peak ™ of .600 the R4-1 pad can reach close to ™ of .500 at temperatures as low as 200™F. The R4-1 brake pads are widely used on Vintage GT and Formula car where pad temps are under 600™F and peak temps are below 1,000™F. This is also a good Rally-Cross brake pad.

Typical AP 1260 R4-1 applications are BMW E90, E91, E92, E93, 328i, 328i XDRiVE, 328Xi and X1..
