Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R4-1 Racing Brake Pad:  AP 784 R4-1 

Porterfield R4-1 Carbon Kevlar Racing Brake Pads were developed and tested in the Vintage Racing community. Because of the high coeffecient of friction (?) at low temperatures, these are fast becoming the Autocross brake pad of choice. A peak ? of .600 the R4-1 pad can reach close to ? of .500 at temperatures as low as 200?F. The R4-1 brake pads are widely used on Vintage GT and Formula car where pad temps are under 600?F and peak temps are below 1,000?F. This is also a good Rally-Cross brake pad.

Typical AP 784 R4-1 applications are Cadillac DeVille HD, DTS HD (incl. Hearse and Limo). Chevy Avalanche, Avalanche 2500, Express 2500, Express 3500, Silverado 1500, Silverado 1500 HD, Silverado 2500, Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500 and Suburban 2500. Hummer H2..
