Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R4-1 Racing Brake Pad:  AP 785 R4-1 

Porterfield R4-1 Carbon Kevlar Racing Brake Pads were developed and tested in the Vintage Racing community. Because of the high coeffecient of friction (?) at low temperatures, these are fast becoming the Autocross brake pad of choice. A peak ? of .600 the R4-1 pad can reach close to ? of .500 at temperatures as low as 200?F. The R4-1 brake pads are widely used on Vintage GT and Formula car where pad temps are under 600?F and peak temps are below 1,000?F. This is also a good Rally-Cross brake pad.

Typical AP 785 R4-1 applications are Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Astro, Avalanche 1500, Avalance 2500, Express 1500, Express 2500, Silverado 1500, Silverado 1500 HD, Silverado 2500, Silverado 2500 HD, Silverado 3500, Suburban 1500, Suburban 2500 and Tahoe. Hummer H2 rear brakes..
