Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R4-1 Racing Brake Pad:  AP 84 R4-1 

Porterfield R4-1 Carbon Kevlar Racing Brake Pads were developed and tested in the Vintage Racing community. Because of the high coefficient of friction (?) at low temperatures, these are fast becoming the Autocross brake pad of choice. A peak ? of .600 the R4-1 pad can reach close to ? of .500 at temperatures as low as 200?F. The R4-1 brake pads are widely used on Vintage GT and Formula car where pad temps are under 600?F and peak temps are below 1,000?F. This is also a good Rally-Cross brake pad.

Typical AP 84 R4-1 applications are Chrysler Cordoba, Fifth Avenue, Imperial, New Yorker, Neoport and Town & Country. Dodge Aspen, Charger, Coronet, Dart, Diplomat, Magnum, Mirada and St. Regis. Plymouth Duster, Gran Fury, Roadrunner, Satellite, Scamp, Valiant and Volare front brakes..
