Porterfield Carbon Kevlar R4-1 Racing Brake Pad:  FRP 201 R4-1 

Porterfield R4-1 Carbon Kevlar Racing Brake Pads were developed and tested in the Vintage Racing community. Because of the high coefficient of friction (?) at low temperatures, these are fast becoming the Autocross brake pad of choice. A peak ? of .600 the R4-1 pad can reach close to ? of .500 at temperatures as low as 200?F. The R4-1 brake pads are widely used on Vintage GT and Formula car where pad temps are under 600?F and peak temps are below 1,000?F. This is also a good Rally-Cross brake pad.

Typical FRP 201 R4-1 applications are ALCON H Type D44 and AP RACING CP 2340 (D51) CP 2361 CP 3228 CP 3735 CP 4556 CP 4558 CP 5144 and CP 6030.
