Typical Raybestos RC GD-522 ST43 applications are the AC Cobra, Alfa Romeo 101 series, 1600 and 2600. Aston Martin DB5, DB6, DBS, Lagonda, Vantage and Volante. Ferrari 206 Dino GT, 275 GT, 330 GT, 330 GTC, 330 GTS and 365 (all w/Girling front calipers). Fiat 1600 Spider and Dino 2000. Jaguar 420, XJ12, XJ6 and XKE. Lotus Esprit. Mercedes Benz 200, 220, 230, 250, 300SE, 300SEL and 300SL. Volvo 122, 130 Series, 1800, P1800 and 220 Series front brakes.

ST43 Compound-
Very versatile brake pad. Great friction, easy on rotor and pad wear with a wide operating range of 300?F to 1200?F. And all with a very flat torque curve. Slightly less initial bite than the ST45 compound but about the same at 900?F and up.

The ST43 is very popular in grass roots style racing, HPDE and Open Track events and SCCA or NASA club racing. The ST43 compound is also popular in Endurance events.
Also, a good rear pad when the ST45 or ST47 front pads are used.
